"Inhabiting Borrowed Places" offers a deep dive into Andreasen's exploration of the human spirit's journey through time within the realms of a 'borrowed' nature. This collection showcases her unique ability to intertwine the essence of nature across different eras with the modern-day human experience, reflecting her philosophy that nature is inherent in man, and by extension, the universe is inherent in nature.
Kirsa Andreasen's work is a testament to her profound understanding of both the human condition and the natural world, making this book an essential addition to the collection of art lovers, philosophers, and anyone intrigued by the intersection of humanity and the natural environment. • Book - Forbundet - Anne Juul Christophersen
    : / :
    EUR 60,00
    In stock
This art book is about the painter Anne Juul Christophersen.

Anne Juul Christophersen (born 1972) debuted on the Danish art scene with her first solo exhibition in Copenhagen in 2007. In her works, Anne works with the fine balance between idyll and horror based on the consideration that both heaven and hell exist everywhere. Without one, the other does not exist, and it is in the gap between these two opposite poles that Anne's works are located.
The artist's world of motifs touches something essential in her audience, and even if people do not always understand what makes them react so emotionally to Anne Juul Christophersen's pictures, perhaps it is because she shares something of her soul with them in each only painting – she creates a connection with her audience in a very personal, emotional way.

In June, Kent Wolfsen, owner of Galerie Wolfsen, turned 60, and it is celebrated with a very special exhibition! Kent usually celebrates his round of birthdays with a theme, and this year is no exception.

Kent Wolfsen. Wolfi, Wolfman, Wolfen, Wolle, Wulfi, etc. - yes, dear child has many names, as you know. The theme of this exhibition is therefore the wolf – ULVEN+. A number of invited artists have created an artwork especially for this exhibition. The invited artists are both artists who regularly exhibit in the gallery, guest exhibitors as well as artists who you may not have seen exhibiting in Galerie Wolfsen in the past few years. One thing is certain: the gallery is full of super good artworks Juni 22 - August 31 2024!

There are many opinions about the wolf, and while some see it as dangerous, aggressive and hostile, others see it as a protector, a symbol of freedom, wisdom, loyalty, courage and determination. Likewise, there have been endless ways of working for the artists when they had to create a work with the wolf as a theme; some artists delved into books, old tales or cultures, while others have chosen to give the wolf a modern, less concrete look.
